Abstract

Nachdem die die ADV einsetzende, ihre Literaturbestände in einer Freihandaufstellung präsentierenden Gesamtbibliotheken rund zehn Jahre arbeiten, kann über Erfahrungen mit Buchaufstellungsklassifikationen in wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken Rechenschaft abgelegt werden. Dies geschieht durch einen Bericht über den arbeitsintensiven Prozeß der Erstellung der 3. Fassung des Systematik der Fachbibliothek Soziologie der UB Bielefeld. Die Revision der Systematik wurde mittels umfangreicher Recherchen in den Mikrofiche-Katalogen und am Regalt durchgeführt und orientierte sich am konkreten Literaturanfall
