Abstract
In 3 Fragestellungen werden philosophische Grundprobleme der Informationsbewertung behandelt. Zunächst wird der genwärtige Status eine fortgeschrittenen Informationsgesellschaft beschrieben, wobei ein Wissensverlust zugunsten eines immer schneller akkumulierenden Informationsgewinns konstatiert wird. Im zweiten Punkt wird gezeigt, daß die Effizienz der Informationswissenschaft leidet, wenn auf eine historische und mediale Bewertung von Information verzichtet wird. Zuletzt wird dargelegt, daß Informationsbewertung zwar nur noch mit technischer Unterstützung möglich ist, nicht aber technische geleistet werden kann, da sich Bewertungen quantifizierenden Verfahren entziehen
