Abstract

Reprts on recent trends in the use of Intranets and the Internet in the UK. Internet penetration has reached 3 quarters of UK organizations and a 3rd have developed corporate Intranets. There is an exponential growth in the overall European market for Intranet hardware. There is an increasing dominance of security related items. The use of network computers is forecast to grow. The Internet boom will accelerate the growth in the market for routers for building large data networks
