Abstract

As the quantity of free material available on the WWW increases so the need for some means of bringing together order to the chaos will become imperative. One solution is to use metacontent or metadata as information about how online content is organized. Briefly discusses the use of Netscape's Meta Content Framework, using the Extensible Definition Format (XML)
