Abstract
Im folgenden wird eine neue, in der Praxis erprobte Technologie-Idee für die Dokumentenrecherche vorgestellt, die eine neue Qualität der Volltextsuche ermöglicht. Realisiert wurde dieses zum Patent angemeldete Verfahren mit dem Werkzeug U.S.U. Value Base(R). Dabei wird das Recherche-Lnow-how der Mitarbeiter in Form von in der täglichen Anwendung optimierten Volltext-Suchstrings im System abgespeichert. Aufgebaut wird dadurch ein semantisches Abfragenetz von Suchthemen, das dem Anwender ein strukturiertes Recherchieren in Volltext-Dokumentbeständen erlaubt. Dieses sog. 'Strukturwissen' wird von den Anwendern gemeinsam gepflegt. Es existiert unabhängig von den Dokumenten, so daß es auf beliebige Dokumentenbestände, insbesondere auch auf das Internet anwendbar ist. Durch die Wiederverwendung werden Recherche-Aufwände bei hoher Qualität der Ergebnisse drastisch reduziert. Am Beispiel des Zugriffs auf Wirtschaftsinformationen in den GENIOS Datenbanken werden die Vorteile dieser Technologie erläutert
