Abstract

Der Erstellungsprozess von Lernmaterialien ist durch einen hohen manuellen Aufwand gekennzeichnet. Die Materialien werden auf eine Zielgruppe und ein Lernziel hin konzipiert und entwickelt. Didaktische Erfahrungen des Autors fließen dabei nebenläufig ein; dessen Erfahrung prägt jedoch entscheidend die spätere Qualität des Kurses. Eine Wiederverwendung von Teilen eines Kurses in einem anderen Kontext ist häufig aus konzeptionellen und technischen Gründen und nicht zuletzt mangelnder Werkzeugunterstützung nicht möglich. Zwar ist der Anteil an Autorentools zur Erstellung multimedialer Inhalte ausgeprägt, ebenso der an E-Leaming-Systemen zur Verwaltung und Präsentation von Kursen. Das Angebot an Werkzeugen, die einen Workflow unterstützen, der die Wiederverwendung einzelner Lembausteine oder Module ermöglicht, ist jedoch sehr dünn. Proprietäre technische Systeme und Speicherformate dominieren. Erstrebenswert und bisher nur teilweise erreicht, wäre eine freie Kombinierbarkeit technischer Systeme verschiedener Hersteller mit Lernmaterialien unterschiedlichster Anbieter. Notwendige Voraussetzungen sind einheitliche Schnittstellen und standardisierte Formate. In den nachfolgenden Abschnitten werden einige grundlegende Technologien und Spezifikationen vorgestellt, die jedoch erst zum Teil Einzug in kommerzielle Produkte gefunden haben und stellenweise noch Gegenstand der aktuellen Forschung sind. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf der Erstellung von Lernmaterialien.
