Abstract

In diesem Beitrag wird das Forschungsfeld der Informationsdidaktik aus den didaktikwissenschaftlich und informationswissenschaftlich relevanten Forschungsdesideraten der formalen Beschreibung von Information und der Praxis des "sich Informierens" hergeleitet. Als Ziel der informationsdidaktischen Forschung werden zum einen die Überprüfung der Relevanz der beiden Untersuchungsgegenstände als Einflussfaktoren für die didaktische Modellbildung und zum anderen die Entwicklung eines Beitrags zur empirischen Beschreibung von Information als einer der Grundkategorien der Informationswissenschaften benannt. Weiterhin wird der methodische Rahmen der informationsdidaktischen Forschung im Kontext der angewandten Forschung an der Fachhochschule Potsdam erläutert. Abschließend wird eine Verortung der Informationsdidaktik in der informationswissenschaftlichen Fachdiskussion vorgeschlagen.
