Abstract

Britannica Software have produced a Windows version of Compton's Multimedia on compact disc. There are 15.000 illustrations, 45 animated sequences, 60 minutes of music and sound, Webster's Intermediate Dictionary, a world atlas and a timeline of U.S. history in addition to the basic 31.200 articles forming the encyclopedia. Describes searching accoreding to different paths, the menu bar, output display, help screens and documentation. The multimedia encyclopedia requires an IBM 286 machine
