Abstract

Der deutsche Zeitungsmarkt ist der größte Europas. Sieben von zehn Deutschen über 14 Jahren lesen hierzulande regelmäßig Tageszeitung. Dabei können sie zwischen 351 verschiedenen Titeln mit einer verkauften Auflage von 19,9 Millionen Exemplaren auswählen. Demographische und wirtschaftliche Entwicklungen sowie die fortschreitende Digitalisierung stellen die Branche jedoch vor neue Herausforderungen.
